Peach Creek Farm has many neighboring town within a stones throw (just a thirty or forty mile toss). Several of them are county seats with recently restored court houses in the central square. It is a pleasant days drive to tour this part of the country. There are lots of places to get some excellent barbeque, some of them in the towns listed below, others at cross-roads out in the country. If you are interested in Texas history, Gonzales and Bastrop are just the tip of the iceberg.
